Malesha Taylor is an executive leader, cultural strategist, storyteller, and artist who helps organizations strengthen culture, deepen belonging, and create meaningful transformation through the power of story, strategy, and human connection.
With more than 25 years of experience spanning faith, philanthropy, arts and culture, higher education, and nonprofit leadership, Malesha has built a career helping institutions navigate complexity, engage diverse communities, and develop strategies that align mission with impact. She brings a unique combination of executive leadership, organizational development, narrative strategy, and creative practice to support leaders and organizations seeking to build healthier, more connected, and more resilient communities.
Malesha currently serves the National Council of Churches’ MOSAIC Storytelling Initiative, where she leads a national storytelling effort focused on capturing and amplifying stories of faith, hope, resilience, and belonging across diverse communities. Through strategic narrative development, documentary storytelling, and community engagement, she helps organizations understand the lived experiences of the people they serve and translate those stories into greater connection, trust, and collective action.
As Founder and Principal Consultant of museSalon Collaborative, Malesha partners with organizations, foundations, institutions, and leaders to design strategies that strengthen organizational culture, enhance community engagement, and foster sustainable transformation. Her consulting practice integrates leadership development, cultural intelligence, storytelling, and collaborative strategy to help organizations move from intention to meaningful impact.
Malesha is the creator of The E.L.E.V.A.T.E. Framework: 7 Guiding Principles for Collective Creativity, Belonging, and Regenerative Futures, a leadership and organizational transformation framework designed to help teams cultivate trust, navigate change, and build cultures rooted in belonging, shared purpose, and collective responsibility. Her approach is grounded in the belief that every organization has a story—and that understanding, honoring, and shaping that story is essential to creating lasting impact.
A classically trained vocalist, composer, TEDx speaker, and educator, Malesha brings the discipline of artistic practice into her executive leadership approach. She understands creativity not simply as expression, but as a strategic tool for innovation, problem-solving, relationship-building, and imagining new possibilities.
Throughout her career, Malesha has collaborated with national foundations, cultural institutions, universities, faith-based organizations, and community leaders to develop programs, strengthen systems, and elevate voices that shape our shared future. She is a trusted partner for organizations seeking to build cultures of belonging, communicate with authenticity, and lead with greater clarity, compassion, and purpose.
Mali helps leaders and organizations transform the way they understand people, tell their stories, and create impact. She is a mother of three, certified scuba diver and currently resides in Atlanta, GA.
