This year, museSalon Collaborative is the Curator-in-Residence with Art on the Atlanta BeltLine. For Black History Month, we will lead a Second-Line, (originating from Afro-Indigenous traditions found in New Orleans) honoring lives lost during this Covid-19 pandemic, police brutality and a host of other causes to collectively grieve, heal and celebrate our loved ones in community. This processional will include local college and high school bands, musicians, dancers, artisans, families, children and civic leaders.
The goal of the event is to provide a safe and healing space for the community to join together amidst our second year in this pandemic through the power of the arts, history and culture.
We will process on the BeltLine Westside Trail
